Prompt 28: Achieve {via Reverb 10}
"What’s the thing you most want to achieve next year? How do you imagine you’ll feel when you get it? Free? Happy? Complete? Blissful? Write that feeling down. Then, brainstorm 10 things you can do, or 10 new thoughts you can think, in order to experience that feeling today." (Author: Tara Sophia Mohr)
There are two ways I can go with this question: the first is spout off about a super high-reaching goal that will make me look good; the second is to admit that, for now, I just want to achieve the practice of choosing to be happy, living in the moment, and being comfortable with myself. I think to achieve the practice of these things would open up worlds in me, so here 10 things I can do, and think, in order to make this happen...
1. Do at least one thing for myself each day that makes me really happy.
2. Stop talking. Seriously, stop.
3. Listen.
4. Sit still.
5. Create beauty.
6. Do something - anything - on a regular basis that is enriching and gets me out of my routine.
7. Believe that others are doing the best they can.
8. Stop comparing.
9. Laugh. On purpose.
10. Things are always changing, so just go with it.
